Visiting American outdoors journalist, Dale Spartas, while in Melbourne for his daughter’s wedding, took the opportunity to enjoy a Tasmanian angling experience.

After heavy rains, dirty water, and with most trout fisheries closed, we decided to spend a couple of hours on the Tamar River.

Between Ray, Dale and myself we landed more than 40 Australian Salmon on the fly.
