Estuary Fishing all year round

Estuary fishing on the Tamar River is an all-year round activity, even through winter when a majority of Tasmania’s trout waters close for spawning.

There are many species in the Tamar River, and some of those that we target with fly, lure, and bait include Australian Salmon, flathead, whiting, kingfish.
