Fishing Tour Rates

  • 1 angler: $750.00 per day.
  • 2 anglers: $995.00 per day.
  • 3 anglers: $1,400.00 per day.
  • 4 anglers with 1 guide (usually shored based): $1,800.00 per day.
  • 4 anglers with 2 guides (may be a mix of shore and boat based): $2,000.00 per day.
  • 5 anglers or more: please contact us for options.
  • Non-angling companions: $250.00 per person, per day.

WHAT TO BRING ON YOUR FISHING TRIP

  • You are welcome to bring your own favourite gear if you wish. If you do, please be aware of quarantine requirements.
  • Polaroid sunglasses (we have loaners if you don’t have any)
  • Clothing: bring layers. It warms up and cools down randomly!
  • Hat
  • Sturdy footwear

Customer Service Form

Our Customer Service Form will be sent to you when your booking is confirmed by deposit. It is designed to provide us with information that will assist us in providing you with the best service we can, and covers things like dietary requirements, safety, etc. You may choose to use the actual form or provide a simple email with the requested information.

Waiver of liability

To ensure participants are covered by our public liability insurance, our insurer requires participants to sign a waiver which is included on our Customer Service Form we send you once your booking is confirmed. For your information, the wording of the waiver is shown below:

“Your fishing guide will provide safety advice as required throughout the day. Guides endeavour to ensure participants’ safety to the best of their abilities, and participants are expected to take responsibility for their own actions and/or involvement. By signing the waiver participants indicate they accept that some activities undertaken during the tour may be dangerous and could result in injury or death, and they accept the risks involved. Guardians must sign for participants under 16 years of age.”

THE SMALL PRINT

Prices are valid from 1 January 2026.

*We will cater to specific dietary requirements. Lunch is provided on full guiding days. On half days, we provide tea/coffee and a light snack.

**Transport is on guiding days, to and from local accommodation in Launceston, Northern Midlands (i.e. Longford and surrounds), or the Central Highlands (i.e. Miena and surrounds).
Please note that transfers from Hobart are not available, however if you have your own transport we can meet you in the Northern Midlands or Central Highlands. Other regions by arrangement, and will incur a travel charge.

***We are an authorised Inland Fisheries Service licence selling agent and they can be purchased from us, or you can purchase them yourself online at www.ifs.tas.gov.au . (The price of the licence is the same whichever option you choose.

****Accommodation is not included however if you would like accommodation to be part of your package, please let us know and we can arrange it for you. For your convenience we offer a booking service for a small fee of $30.00 plus the accommodation provider’s room rate.
