Dean on Arthurs Lake

Arthurs Lake over the lily ponds

During a day on Arthurs Lake we were fishing over the lily ponds. In shallow water about a foot deep all of a sudden there were many fish taking emerging duns.

Dean was a keen fly fishing student, and soaked up as much knowledge as he could. The result is Dean’s first trout on a dry fly. He nailed this 53 cm beautifully marked Arthurs wild brown trout with a Pink Lady mayfly emerger.
